Tell your baby what you're doing0 to 3 months · about 5 minutes
You need: nothing at all.
- During a diaper change or getting dressed, talk your baby through it.
- Say each step: "Now one sock off. Wiggly toes! Now the other sock."
- Use their name often.
- Leave little pauses, as if they were answering.
Builds: language and talking. Everyday care becomes a stream of words in your voice, which is how babies start to learn language.
