How to play
Stick out your tongue0 to 3 months · about 3 minutes
You need: nothing at all.
- Hold your baby facing you in good light.
- Slowly stick out your tongue, then wait.
- Try other big, slow faces: an open mouth, an "O", raised eyebrows.
- Give them plenty of time to answer; some babies copy back after a few seconds.
Builds: social and emotional and thinking and problem solving. Watching and copying faces is one of the first games a baby can play with you.
