Recalls and safety alerts

Check the government's own pages for recalls: the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission lists recalls and product safety warnings, and the Food and Drug Administration lists recalls, market withdrawals and safety alerts. Both let you search, and both offer email alerts.

Checked October 29, 2026.

Where do I look for a recalled baby product?

The CPSC's Recalls and Product Safety Warnings page has a search you can filter by date, hazard and category, and says you can subscribe to recall emails.

Where do I look for a recalled food or formula?

The FDA's Recalls, Market Withdrawals, and Safety Alerts page has a search and filters by product type, and an email sign-up.

Why doesn't Peabody keep a list?

A list we kept could be out of date the day after a recall. The two pages above are the source, so they are the place to check. If you have a recalled product, follow the instructions on the recall notice.
