When can my baby start solid foods?
The CDC and the AAP say most babies are ready for solid foods at about 6 months, when they can sit up with support, hold their head steady and show interest in food. Breast milk or formula stays the main drink. If your baby seems ready sooner or later, your pediatrician can help you decide.
