How to play

You need: a laundry basket, a stuffed animal.

  1. Put a stuffed animal in the laundry basket.
  2. Show your toddler how to push it across the floor.
  3. Ask them to give teddy a ride to the kitchen.
  4. Take turns being the driver.

Builds: moving and using hands and social and emotional. Pushing something heavy-ish gives a new walker steadiness and a job to do.

Safety: Push on a flat floor, away from stairs.
