Cloud pictures: a play idea for 4 and 5 year olds

You need: a blanket.

1. Lie on a blanket outside on a cloudy day.
2. Look for shapes in the clouds: a dragon, a boat, a face.
3. Take turns pointing out what you see.
4. Make up a story about the cloud creatures.

Builds: language and talking and thinking and problem solving. Seeing shapes and telling stories about them stretches imagination and language.

Safety: Never look straight at the sun.
