How to play

Bye-bye and hello9 to 12 months · about 3 minutes

You need: a few toys, a blanket.

  1. Wave to a toy and say "Bye-bye, teddy!" as you hide it under a blanket.
  2. Pull it out: "Hello, teddy!"
  3. Help your baby wave too.
  4. Wave bye-bye to people at the door and the window every day.

Builds: language and talking and social and emotional. Waving is an early gesture, and it often comes with an early word.
