When can a baby have honey?

The CDC's list of foods and drinks to avoid says not to give honey to children under 12 months old. That includes honey in baked foods, on a pacifier and in cereal. The CDC's page also lists other foods to avoid or limit in the first years, and your pediatrician can answer questions about your child.
