How much sleep does my baby or toddler need?
The American Academy of Sleep Medicine, with the AAP's backing, recommends 12 to 16 hours of sleep in every 24 for babies 4 to 12 months old, and 11 to 14 hours for children 1 to 2 years old, naps included. Children differ, so use the range as a guide, and ask your pediatrician if you are worried.
